Hammer Records: What do you think of when you think Wacken?
The Mountain Man: Germany, metal, and beer. In no particular order.
Hammer Records: Last years winner was Vesperia, Do you think this year the winner will be from Vancouver?
The Mountain Man: It's absolutely possible. This city is has so much talent - you can't predict an outright winner off each card.
Hammer Records: What separates Vancouver metal from other Canadian metal?
The Mountain Man: We can't really speak for many other cities' scenes, but the brother/sisterhood between all the bands and fans in this city is unbelievable. It's like one giant heavy metal family.
Hammer Records: Do you have anything special in mind for your performance at the Red Room?
The Mountain Man: If we told you that, it wouldn't make it so special now would it? In all seriousness, we're just going to play our set. No gimmicks.
Hammer Records: What do you think about battle of the bands events around Vancouver?
The Mountain Man: Usually not our thing. But come on... It's Wacken.
