#CMW Artist Showcase - The Fairest And Best

The Fairest And Best will have the hometown advantage at Canadian Music Week this year. We had a quick chat with them about their upcoming show.

Hammer Records: Tell us what you think of when you think Canadian Music?
The Fairest And Best: We think of good people who are trying to support the Canadian music scene and shine a spotlight on artists and bands who are awesome but undiscovered.

Hammer Records: How did you get involved in Canadian Music Week?
The Fairest And Best: I was invited to be part of a showcase at the Cadillac Lounge - organized by our producer Ross Hayes Citrullo.

Hammer Records: What do you have planned for Canadian Music Week?
The Fairest And Best: We are looking forward to showcasing our wildly eclectic setlist - pop, rock , soul, jazz, country, Latin, blues, and even power ballads! We have four singers in the band (we are a six piece) so we have a lot of big harmonies which we are also excited to showcase.

Hammer Records: What message do you want to send to Canadians listening to your music?
The Fairest And Best: There are band out there that are writing and performing music you will like - whatever music you like! Get out and discover your next favourite band!

Hammer Records: Whats coming up for you?

The Fairest And Best: We released out debut EP "When I Feel Like This"  in Oct 2015 and we are releasing a new single and video on April 14th.
