#CMW Artist Showcase - Olivia And The Creepy Crawlies

Some awesome Folk Pop is coming to Canadian Music Week. We had a quick chat with Olivia And The Creepy Crawlies about their upcoming performance in Toronto.

Hammer Records: Tell us what you think of when you think Canadian Music?
Kelly: Music Industry Arts at Fanshawe College. 5/6 of our members are MIA grads, and Canadian Music Week was the icing on the cake for that program - the entire year took a shuttle from London to Toronto and took part in conferences and shows. It was an incredible learning (and bonding) experience.

Hammer Records: How did you get involved in Canadian Music Week?
Kelly: We applied through Sonic Bids - this is our very first performance at Canadian Music Week.

Hammer Records: What do you have planned for Canadian Music Week?
Kelly: Well you'll have to show up to find out, won't you? We don't disappoint :) You can expect flowers, lights, and some lovely sticker/business cards to take home. We also have shirts, CDS, handmade Valentines, and more!

Hammer Records: What message do you want to send to Canadians listening to your music?
Kelly: We aim to create music that people can drink tea to, or to dance a little. We want you to feel as happy listening to our music as we do playing it.

Hammer Records: Whats coming up for you?

Kelly: Our spring tour dates are underway, and can be located here: http://www.oliviaandthecreepycrawlies.com/#!tour-dates/z2ttc We have 7 summer festivals booked so far, and a East Coast Tour may or may not be in the works(Hint, it is).
