#CMW Artist Showcase - The Plugs

These four fun loving guys are The Plugs. They are going to be sharing their brand of Pop Punk music with Canadian Music Week. We had a quick chat with the band about their upcoming performance in Toronto.

Hammer Records: Tell us what you think of when you think Canadian Music?
The Plugs: Some awesome Canadian bands come to mind like Billy Talent, Sum 41, and Matthew Good Band. We grew up listening to some of these bands and we're proud to be from the same country.

Hammer Records: How did you get involved in Canadian Music Week?
The Plugs: We applied to play in the festival and I guess they thought we were good enough to play!?

Hammer Records: What do you have planned for Canadian Music Week?
The Plugs: Well, we were thinking of getting T-shirt launchers but decided that was a bad idea since the venue isn't very big. We'd probably send a few people to the hospital so you know, bad rep for the band right?

Hammer Records: What message do you want to send to Canadians listening to your music?
The Plugs: We hope you enjoy our music and don't end up throwing out/deleting our music and/or using it as toilet paper :( our demo also doubles as a coaster/paperweight so we got that going for us.

Hammer Records: Whats coming up for you?

The Plugs: We just finished pre-production for a record we want to put out later this year. We have a couple of show announcements coming up very soon including a show in Burlington for the Sound of Music Festival. You can find our EP on iTunes and visit one of our social media sites below:
